Mortise & Tenon Joinery |

Top board has the Tenon. Bottom board the mortise. I make two tenons and mortises in each joint for better expansion and contraction management. |
Horizontal boards or rails with the tenons are the top and bottom boards of the Swing's back. Vertical boards with the mortise are the stiles or sides. The Cherry wood panel is in the middle of frame. |
